here we go! The shop is open again and the early bird tickets are available. We have deliberately decided against a price increase. So everything remains the same as this year (and the year before): €45.00, limited to 100 tickets.

A small jubilee is coming up: The Burgbrand Open Air is heading into its 5th edition! Traditionally, we celebrate this half-round birthday on the first weekend in August from July 31 to August 2, 2025.
What's changing? Not much! On Thursday there will be the ever-popular Metal Disco, and on Friday and Saturday 15 bands from heavy, thrash, speed, stoner, doom and sludge metal will once again heat you up!

Dear Burgbrandlers,
We would like to thank all our guests, bands and of course our incredible crew.
It was not an easy festival. Especially the postponement due to the storm didn't help us - but it showed that we work as a crew! Special thanks to MESSA, GODSLAVE and APTERA for their constructive cooperation and understanding of the situation.
Now we're going to finish dismantling the festival ground and have a little rest. On Monday there will be more photos of the individual bands' performances.

We've done it - the line-up is complete. With Hall and Ex-Orbit, the last two additions have been announced, bringing our 15 bands together.
From now on, it's the home straight! The pre-sale will remain open until 28.07.24; the tickets must then be paid for by 30.07.24 so that the tickets can be sent out in time before the Burgbrand.
We are already very excited and look forward to your visit!

For those looking for Christmas presents: Early Bird tickets and merch are now available in the shop!
The Wacken Open Air announces a complete entrance stop.
We feel for all metal fans whose festival weekend is now literally rained off. That's why we want to help! All Wacken ticket owners will get a weekend ticket to Burgbrand Open Air for 10 € at the box office.
Please note that we are a small festival and therefore have to limit these special tickets to 250 pieces. So if you want to stop by at the B.O.A. on your way home from the W.O.A., please send us a short email to info@burgbrand.de and tell us how many people you want to come with. We will confirm your arrival and you are there!
The presale ends today! We would like to thank everyone who has already purchased a ticket.
If you still want to do this very quickly, you can do it in our store.
But remember: THE PAYMENT MUST BE IN YOUR ACCOUNT BY 31.07.2023. If that doesn't work out anymore, we will cancel the order. But there are definitely still enough tickets at the box office.

the presale will run until 28.07.2023. After that, the shop will be switched off, as we will then buy tickets at the box office and merch at the festival.
Here are the ticket prices at the box office:
Weekend ticket: 55 €
Day ticket Friday: 35 €
Day ticket Saturday: 40 €
After the festival, the shop will go online again and the rest of the merch can be bought as usual!

Unfortunately, we have some bad news today. We have been informed that STRIKER has cancelled their entire European tour, which of course also affects our concert. For more information, we refer to the band's social media accounts.
Instead, we are proud to welcome RAGING SPEEDHORN! Musically we move into a wild mixture of Hardcore and Sludge, which is a good frame for our festival. We are sure that the sheer unbridled energy of the six Englishmen will jump over to you. For a warm-up we recommend the last two albums "Lost Ritual" and "Hard To Kill".

what a fantastic weekend it was! We would like to thank everyone who visited Burgbrand 2022 and we are excited to see you all again next year.

We are sorry to inform you that Betalmand and Chaos and Confusion have to cancel due to illness. We wish the affected band members a speedy recovery.
As a replacement for Friday night Eradicator will step in. Fast, groovy Thrash Metal, absolutely uncompromising, simply good. Nice dudes on top of that. We are all the more grateful that the band was able to step in at such short notice.
On Saturday afternoon we welcome Abyzz on our stage, who will complete our line-up with wild Death Metal and represent the colleagues from Betalmand worthily!
Today, we have some good news and some bad news for you.
Unfortunately, Milking The Goatmachine and Skinned Alive have to cancel their participation in the Burgbrand Open Air 2022. The reasons for this are absolutely understandable and we would like to take this opportunity to officially thank them for the early information and the trustful cooperation. We hope that we can repeat our cooperation in 2023 and wish all the best to the bands.
Now for the good news: we have a high-quality replacement! We are very happy to welcome Endstille to the castle. Zingultus was with us in 2019 and we are very happy to have the rest of the band with us now!
As a replacement for Skinned Alive, we were able to sign Norkh, a band that fits in well with the already confirmed bands, but also knows how to convince with their individual sound!

It's time to start again! The ticket sale for the Burgbrand Open Air 2022 begins today!
There will be Early Bird tickets available until 28.02.2022, but also single day tickets. The Early Bird phase will end on 01.03.2022. The number of participants is limited to 500.
As promised, we were able to keep the line-up together, for which we would like to explicitly thank all the bands.
